The main objectives for which LATCU Ltd was established as spelt out in its registered constitution are as follows: –
To act as agent for Co operative Societies under it for the purpose of collection and marketing tobacco, coffee and other products so that they fetch good prices
To buy and distribute agricultural inputs to all its members at reasonable prices so as to promote the welfare of its members.
To promote good agricultural management practice systems for tobacco, coffee and other products to all its members
To promote Co operative Education to all its members and providing training to union staff so that they improve their work performance and increase efficiency in their work to the Union.
